In addition to having a larger carburetor and propeller for improved performance and tiller steering, the 5 hp has many characteristics with the 4 hp. The 59-pound Mercury 5-hp engine has a manual start, exceptional fuel efficiency, and renowned dependability. The 5MXLH variant has a 25-inch longer shaft and an integrated gasoline tank for ultimate grab-and-go portability. The conventional external tank connector allows for the optional addition of an external gasoline tank or fuel line. The Mercury Marine 3-year warranty is included with this model.
