The F2.5, the smallest model in Yamaha’s four-stroke family, has been improved for ease and efficiency. This small marvel is dependable and efficient, and it never ceases to astound.
Oil Retention System: Yamaha’s unique Easy Storage Oil Retention System ensures that the engine starts easily the first time out by allowing it to be stowed on the front grip or on either side without worrying about oil leaks.
See-Through Tank: The integrated, transparent fuel tank allows sailors to quickly assess the amount of fuel, while the tank cover keeps water out.
Easy Grip Knob: The choke knob, F-N shifter lever, and starter knob are all conveniently located for easy use.

Keep It Easy: Checking the oil level is made easy with a new oil filler cap.
Appearance: The engine maintains its consistency with the Yamaha outboard series thanks to the revised rounded cowling appearance.
Large Twist Throttle: This throttle gives users a more comfortable grip.
Carry On: To make lifting the outboard easier and ensuring proper balance when carried by one hand, a large carrying handle is designed to balance the center of gravity. In reverse operation, steering can also be done with the carrying handle.

Small and Lightweight: An engine with a single cylinder, OHV, splash lubrication, and a basic TCI (Transistor Controlled Ignition) system is small and light.
Anti-Corrosion Protection: The engine’s external components are shielded from corrosion by Yamaha’s special YDC-30 aluminum alloy, and long-lasting protection is provided on the inside and out by a zinc coating, premium stainless steel, and a five-stage exterior coating.
