Yamaha F250 V6 4.2L Digital 30 F250UCA Outboard Motor 2018
$12,284.90
Description
The 4.2-liter F250 is ideal for offshore dual or center consoles, walkarounds, runabouts, and pontoons since it increases horsepower and displacement without requiring you to replace your rigging.
Convenience and Control
BEST-IN-CLASS CHARGING POWER: Our V6 4.2-liter outboards have over 29% more charging power than other V6 four-strokes, with a total alternator output of up to 70 amps. This means there is enough power to charge a variety of on-board electronic gadgets.
PRECISE AND CONVENIENT TROLLING: You may regulate trolling speed in 50-RPM increments from 600 to 1000 RPM with our Variable Trolling RPM Switch (VTS®), ensuring steady trolling speeds under all circumstances.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS AND SECURITY: A 6-inch high contrast, multi-engine LCD or a brand-new 7-inch touchscreen display, digital electronic controls, key switches, start/stop panels, and more information and flexibility than before are all elements of the Command Link Plus®. When moored, its optional Y-COP® theft-deterrent system turns off the fuel and ignition systems.
SMOOTH SHIFTING: The noise that is often associated with shifting is significantly reduced by our unique Shift Dampener System (SDSTM), which absorbs the force that results from moving gears.
Power and Performance
4.2 LITER BIG BORE DISPLACEMENT: The sleeveless cylinder walls of Yamaha’s 4.2-liter V6 Offshore outboards are made of plasma-fused material, which is 60% harder than steel. This means that without enlarging the outer cylinder’s dimensions, larger cylinder bores will result in greater displacement and higher power and torque. Along with significantly reduced weight and improved cooling, it also produces “micro-textured” cylinder walls that reduce friction loss, boost performance, and improve dependability.
SUPERIOR FUEL EFFICIENCY: Compared to competing four-stroke V6s, our 4.2-liter V6s are up to 17% more fuel efficient at 3500 RPM. Precision Multi-Point Fuel Injection and electronically controlled throttle valves cooperate to provide a precise fuel and air mix for optimal power and efficiency. Furthermore, the Engine Control Module (ECM), which performs performance modifications, receives important atmospheric and engine parameters continuously from six separate sensors.
LIGHTEST WEIGHT IN CLASS: Every possible weight reduction has been made for optimal performance without compromising durability, from the top of the cowling to the tip of the propeller shaft. An improved polymer composite lower engine pan has been developed that reduces weight and improves corrosion resistance. At 562 pounds (digital) and 551 pounds (mechanical), the 4.2-liter V6 is up to 73 pounds lighter than other four-stroke engines in its class.
THROTTLE RESPONSE & ACCELERATION: To significantly boost power and throttle response in the low- and mid-RPM ranges, Yamaha’s Variable Camshaft Timing technology advances and retards the angle of the intake camshaft. Yamaha’s new 4.2-liter big-bore V6 outboards provide fantastic hole shot and mid-range acceleration thanks to this feature.
Reliability & Durability
Enhanced cooling capacity: Dual pairs of water inlets are standard on Yamaha V6 4.2-liter models to improve cooling effectiveness. Each pair of pick-ups, which are situated on the front and both sides of the lower unit, functions independently of the others to ensure enough water flow under a range of circumstances and applications.
RELIABILITY & EFFICIENCY: Compared to traditional rocker arm systems, independent intake and exhaust camshafts offer more accurate valve timing control with fewer moving parts for enhanced reliability. Four valves per cylinder, which more effectively exchange intake and exhaust gases for responsive power and improved fuel economy, are also made possible by this superior design.
PROTECTION FROM THE ELEMENTS: A tried-and-true cowling drain system is built into every Yamaha V6 4.2-liter outboard to quickly and effectively remove any water that gets into the cowling while the engine is running normally. For optimum dependability, incoming air is sent through a maze of passageways that catch and release water before it reaches the engine’s intake.
VIBRATION REDUCTION: Our Long Span Mounting System, which uses a specifically made rubber compound fastened to newly developed engine mounts, is used with Yamaha V6 4.2-liter outboards. They minimize vibration while providing the required strength when positioned as widely apart as is practically possible in both vertical and horizontal directions.
