Yamaha F75 Midrange Mechanical 20 F75LB Outboard Motor 2018
$4,832.90
Description
The displacement of the 1.8-liter I-4 F75 has increased from its previous version. Despite this, it is small and weighs only 13 pounds because to its single overhead camshaft and four valves per cylinder. One exciting new outboard is created by combining greater power with reduced weight.
Convenience and Control
Multi-Function Tiller Handle: Yamaha’s Multi-Function Tiller Handle, which has won numerous awards, is compatible with the F90. Engine start/stop, emergency stop, gear shift, tilt and power trim, variable trolling switch, warning, and controls are all integrated into one device.
POWERING CHARGE: The F90 has three-phase alternators that can generate up to 35 amps of electricity. That is 40% more output for the 90 than for earlier designs. That’s more than enough electricity for accessories and battery charging.
Yamaha’s Variable Trolling RPM Switch (VTS®) is a feature of the F90. This makes it possible to precisely alter trolling speeds in increments of 50 RPM, ranging from 550 to 1000 RPM for the 90 and 75 horsepower and from 650 to 900 RPM for the 115 horsepower. Even sub-idle trolling is permitted. For fishermen, this is a huge bonus.
EXTENDED ENGINE LIFE: For optimal convenience, longevity, and engine life, a freshwater flush device enables you to flush the engine without starting it.
Power and Performance
POWER AND EFFICIENCY: The precise quantity of gasoline required for peak performance and efficiency is delivered with Precision Multi-Point Electronic gasoline Injection. Fuel economy is further improved with Yamaha’s EFI, which improves fuel atomization.
POWERFUL HOLE SHOT: The F115, F90, and F75’s Composite Intake Manifold has long tube intake tracks that are adjusted to improve airflow, which increases torque in the midrange and low end. Increased acceleration and a stronger hole shot are the results of this. An air silencer box and surge tank minimize air intake noise and air turbulence for quiet, seamless operation even with all this quick power.
OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE: Under all operating circumstances, a TCI microprocessor ignition modifies timing to preserve engine performance, economy, and power.
LIGHTWEIGHT, COMPACT DESIGN: The F90 and F75 have a single overhead camshaft but still deploy four valves per cylinder, while the F115 has a double overhead camshaft to reduce weight and increase efficiency. With the configuration, the cylinder head has less mass, and the outboard as a whole weighs less. Excellent engine combustion, which increases horsepower, torque, and fuel efficiency, is also a result of having four valves per cylinder.
QUICK ACCELERATION: The F90 and F75 have joined their big brother, the F115, by increasing to 1.8-liter displacement. In the meantime, both the 75 and 90 horsepower have lost 13 pounds. Our 90 horsepower is a top performer in acceleration and torque because to its less weight, higher volumetric efficiency, and greater displacement, which all combine to create an exciting performance.
Reliability and Durability
KEEP THE WATER OUT: The newest Water Draining Intake Duct is included into the updated cowling design. This outboard is even more equipped to handle the sea environment thanks to its side intakes and excellent water separation capability.
QUIETTER THAN PREDECESSOR: At low to medium speeds, Yamaha’s well-proven labyrinth exhaust system significantly reduces engine noise by progressively expanding exhaust gases via a labyrinth. Noise at speeds higher than middle has been significantly decreased thanks to muffler upgrades.
The outboard is protected by the engine warning system, which has several features such as water-in-fuel detection, over-rev protection, shift-in prevention at open throttle, start-in-gear protection, low-oil-pressure warning (which automatically lowers the maximum RPM to 2000), and overheat protection.
WET SUMP: To maintain the lubrication and smooth operation of all the moving components of their DOHC and SOHC systems for optimal dependability, the F115, F90, and F75 use a pressured oil delivery system in conjunction with a small and sturdy oil pump.
CORROSION PROTECTION: Our widely acclaimed anti-corrosive paint system offers a robust, five-layer barrier against corrosion when combined with our unique alloy (YDC-30). The drive, prop, and shift shafts are examples of stainless steel parts that offer an extra crucial layer of corrosion protection. Additionally, the motor is protected from the weather by a number of sacrificial anodes.
