Description

The 5hp outboard motor from Tohatsu offers unmatched dependability and exceptional fuel economy. EPA and CARB 3-Star approved, ultra-low emission, three-way storage positions without oil spill concerns, newly designed top and bottom cowls based on Tohatsu Design Philosophy for Marine Products, and newly designed Tohatsu unique front and back carrying handles for easier transportation are all features of the new MFS5DL.An excellent source of portable power for jon boats, skiffs, drift boats, and inflatables, as well as auxiliary power for sailboats and “kickers” for bigger fishing vessels, is the Tohatsu MFS5DL, which also has a 20-inch shaft. The Tohatsu 5hp outboard engine has a larger carburetor and propeller for better performance, but it still has many of the same features as the 4hp engine. A portable 3.1-gallon external gasoline tank and fuel line (supplied) are used to distribute fuel.
