Steering and throttle can be operated with one hand thanks to the multipurpose tiller handle. The unique auto-ratchet mechanism that comes with Mercury’s 8 HP outboard engine makes it simple for the operator to change the tilt and trim angle. A 15-inch shaft, an electric start motor, and Mercury’s three-year manufacturing warranty are included with the Mercury Model 8EH.
