Perfect for inflatable boats, skiffs, and jon boats The 8 HP Mercury outboard is a four-stroke, two-cylinder marine engine that produces power that is quiet, smooth, and fuel-efficient. Steering and throttle can be operated with one hand thanks to the multipurpose tiller handle. The unique auto-ratchet mechanism that comes with Mercury’s 8 HP outboard engine makes it simple for the operator to change the tilt and trim angle. A 15-inch shaft, an electric start motor, and Mercury’s three-year manufacturing warranty are included with the Mercury Model 8EH.
