Description
The Mercury 9.9 HP Outboard motor with Command Thrust delivers the power, thrust, and control that wider, heavier boats need. A 20 % larger prop increases control and a taller gear case puts the prop deeper below turbulent water for improved performance. A low 2.42:1 gear ratio and high thrust propeller make the 103 lb. Mercury 9.9 outboard engine an excellent choice for sailboat and trolling/kicker applications. By preventing air from being sucked into the propeller, the Command Thrust’s large, anti-ventilation plate improves speed and efficiency even further. A 20-inch shaft, electric start, auto ratchet tilt and trim, and Mercury’s multi-function tiller handle that enables one-handed F-N-R gear shifting, throttle and throttle tension, steering, and stopping are all features of the 9.9 HP Mercury Outboard Motor model 9.9ELHPT-CT-PK. Mercury offers a three-year basic warranty.
