Description
The Torqeedo Cruise models deliver up to twice the range from the same battery supply compared to other popular electric motors with high-tech features like GPS-based range calculation, up-to-the-minute accurate battery status and speed calculations, and the ability to work with cool accessories like Torqeedo’s smartphone app, TorqTrac. This is because they use a highly efficient rare earth magnet torque motor, electronics, and gear package.
A solid aluminum lower unit offers better defense against debris, fishing lines, rust, and impact damage. The Cruise 2.0 produces the force of a 6hp combustion outboard and the propelling power of a 5hp. A short shaft is used for tiller steering.
Key Features
Compatible with standard steering systems: Models with remote steering are made to be connected to the light-duty steering system from SeaStar Solutions (separately offered).
GPS onboard computer: When paired with the Power 26-104 lithium battery, all models feature a GPS onboard computer and a tiller display that shows the speed, input power, and precise battery condition and remaining range in real time.
Submersible Waterproof Rating: IP67-compliant housing and all plug connections
Rugged construction: Extremely sturdy construction with a polymer plain bearing that doesn’t require lubrication, which guards against debris damage and is low maintenance and wear-resistant.
Aluminum Pylon: Suitable for the most extreme situations, this stable pylon is composed of marine-grade anodized aluminum and features an extra-reinforced fin.
