Description

The Torqeedo Cruise models deliver up to twice the range from the same battery supply compared to other popular electric motors with high-tech features like GPS-based range calculation, up-to-the-minute accurate battery status and speed calculations, and the ability to work with cool accessories like Torqeedo’s smartphone app, TorqTrac. This is because they use a highly efficient rare earth magnet torque motor, electronics, and gear package.

A solid aluminum lower unit offers better defense against debris, fishing lines, rust, and impact damage. The Cruise 4.0 produces thrust from a 9.9-hp combustion outboard and propelling power from an 8-hp engine. A long shaft is used for tiller steering.

Rugged construction: Extremely sturdy construction with a polymer plain bearing that doesn’t require lubrication, which guards against debris damage and is low maintenance and wear-resistant.

Aluminum Pylon: Suitable for the most extreme situations, this stable pylon is composed of marine-grade anodized aluminum and features an extra-reinforced fin.
