Qualities
cushion & Fold: A revised tiller handle makes it possible for the stored motor to occupy less space, and an additional resting cushion increases storage options and stability.
With a twist: The new F9.9F and T9.9G driveshafts include a unique center part that is smaller than the ends. In the event that the prop makes strong contact with an underwater object, it is intended to momentarily “twist,” safeguarding the propshaft, powerhead, and other essential engine parts.
Control: Using the reduced tiller handle has never been simpler. For more accurate shifting, its redesigned shift level form offers improved grip.
Fuel Sipper: The F9.9 has exceptional fuel efficiency, far better than 2-stroke 9.9-hp models, thanks to Yamaha’s cutting-edge four-stroke engine technology.
Front & Center: Easy shallow water drive, single action steering friction adjustment, and smooth shifting are made possible by handy front-mounted controls.
Anti-corrosion protection: The engine’s external components are shielded by Yamaha’s special YDC-30 aluminum alloy, and long-lasting protection is provided on the inside and out by a zinc coating, premium stainless steel, and a five-stage exterior coating.
